POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Business Development Manager, you will have a designated territory and will be responsible for the following:
Prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying potential clients
Creating and proposing customized logistics solutions to the customer
Closing new business
Maintaining existing clients
Meeting specific sales budgets and goals
POSITION & JOB DUTIES
The ideal candidate has industry operational and sales experience. Experience in both international and domestic transportation is desired. Knowledge of the local area is essential. Listed below are a few other desirable qualifications for the Business Development Manager:
High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
COMPENSATION
MTI Worldwide Logistics offers two different compensation plans:
A highly competitive salary plus commission, or
For candidates with a solid base of business a commission only option at a much higher rate
